Reported Availability: September 21–30, 2026

Reported Spend Threshold: ~$100

LEGO Scary Haunted Tree (40900)

The next general purchase LEGO GWP expected for September is Scary Haunted Tree (40900), a small seasonal model designed around a spooky Halloween scene.

Current information places the promotion between September 21 and September 30, with reports pointing to a purchase threshold of around $100 in the United States. Unlike some of the other upcoming GWPs, Scary Haunted Tree is expected to be available with general qualifying purchases rather than requiring shoppers to buy one particular set.

With Halloween just over a month away, the timing makes sense for a seasonal promotional model. It could also give shoppers an extra incentive to make any planned September purchases before October's next round of promotions begins.

For now, the dates and purchase threshold should still be treated as reported information until the LEGO Group officially confirms the complete promotion.

October 2026 LEGO GWPs

October is already shaping up to be an interesting month for LEGO collectors, particularly for Star Wars and gaming fans. Two promotional models are currently on our radar: Darth Vader's Lightsaber and Astro Bot.

Darth Vader's Lightsaber (40897)

Status: Confirmed

Number of Parts: 174

Availability: October 1–7, 2026

Requirement: Purchase 75457 Executor Super Star Destroyer

LEGO Darth Vader's Lightsaber (40897)

One of the most desirable LEGO Star Wars GWPs of the fall arrives alongside one of the theme's biggest new releases. Darth Vader's Lightsaber (40897) contains 174 parts and recreates Darth Vader's iconic red lightsaber as a compact display model. However, this isn't a traditional GWP that can be unlocked by reaching a general spending threshold. Instead, Darth Vader's Lightsaber is tied specifically to the purchase of Executor Super Star Destroyer (75457).

The massive Executor Super Star Destroyer carries a U.S. price of $799.99, meaning the Lightsaber will only be relevant to shoppers already planning to pick up the premium Star Wars release.

That exclusivity could make Darth Vader's Lightsaber (40897) particularly desirable among Star Wars collectors, especially if it remains exclusive to the Executor's initial launch period.

If the Executor is already on your wishlist, buying during the GWP window could be the best opportunity to get the most out of that purchase.

Astro Bot (40899)

Status: Rumored

Number of Parts: N/A

Expected Availability: October 2026

Expected Requirement: Purchase of 72306 PlayStation

Gaming fans could also have a particularly interesting GWP to watch in October. Astro Bot (40899) is currently rumored as a promotional model connected with the new PlayStation (72306) set. The build is based on Astro Bot, the PlayStation character who has become one of the most recognizable faces associated with Sony's gaming brand.

Reports and imagery surrounding the model have added weight to the possibility of an October promotion, but the exact terms have not yet been officially confirmed by the LEGO Group. Current information suggests that Astro Bot (40899) could accompany purchases of the new LEGO PlayStation rather than being available through a general spending threshold.

Until LEGO announces the promotion, however, its availability, dates, and purchase requirements should all be treated as rumored. If the promotion does materialize as expected, Astro Bot could become one of the more unique GWPs of Fall 2026, particularly for collectors interested in LEGO's growing selection of video game-inspired models.

November 2026 LEGO GWPs

November is where the Fall 2026 GWP calendar could get especially exciting.

Current information points toward at least two promotional models to watch: Mini Knight's Castle (40775) and Hot Chocolate Stand (40776). Their reported timing puts both in November, although exact promotional dates and purchase thresholds have not yet been revealed.

That's particularly important because November includes some of LEGO's biggest annual shopping events, including LEGO Insiders Weekend and Black Friday.

Mini Knight's Castle (40775)

Status: Reported

Number of Parts: 590

Expected Availability: November 2026

Spend Threshold: N/A

Castle fans will want to keep a particularly close eye on Mini Knight's Castle (40775). At 590 parts, Mini Knight's Castle is considerably larger than many promotional builds and recreates the look of classic LEGO Castle models at a smaller scale. The build draws inspiration from classic Castle designs, making it an especially interesting promotional set for longtime LEGO fans and collectors of medieval builds.

Current information places Mini Knight's Castle (40775) in November 2026, although an exact availability window and qualifying purchase threshold have not yet been established. Its size could potentially mean a relatively high spending requirement, but there isn't enough reliable information yet to assign a threshold. For now, we're leaving that information as N/A rather than guessing.

With LEGO Insiders Weekend and Black Friday both approaching in November, this is easily one of the promotional sets we'll be watching most closely. If you're a Castle collector planning a large LEGO purchase later this year, it may be worth waiting until the exact terms surrounding Mini Knight's Castle become clearer.

Hot Chocolate Stand (40776)

Status: Reported

Number of Parts: 256

Expected Availability: November 2026

Spend Threshold: N/A

The second promotional model currently associated with November is Hot Chocolate Stand (40776). This 256 part seasonal build brings a festive holiday atmosphere to the fall promotional lineup, making it a natural fit for LEGO's transition from Black Friday into the Christmas shopping season.

LEGO Hot Chocolate Stand (40776)

Compared with the much larger Mini Knight's Castle, Hot Chocolate Stand is a more compact seasonal model and could potentially serve a different promotional window or purchase threshold.

However, the exact requirements remain unknown.

For now, November 2026 is the key availability window to watch. We'll update this guide as soon as more specific dates and purchase requirements are reported or officially confirmed. Holiday themed GWPs can also be especially useful for shoppers who already plan to purchase LEGO sets as Christmas gifts, so it may be worth holding larger November orders until the promotional schedule is fully revealed.

What About LEGO Insiders Weekend and Black Friday 2026?

This is currently the biggest gap in the Fall 2026 LEGO promotional calendar. LEGO Insiders Weekend and Black Friday are traditionally among the most important shopping periods of the year for LEGO fans, bringing opportunities for exclusive GWPs, discounts, additional LEGO Insiders Points, and other limited time offers.

While Mini Knight's Castle and Hot Chocolate Stand are currently associated with November, we don't yet have a complete picture of which promotions will overlap with Insiders Weekend or Black Friday 2026. There could also be additional GWPs that haven't surfaced yet.

That makes November a month where shoppers may want to be especially strategic. Unless you're buying a set that's at risk of selling out, waiting to see LEGO's complete Black Friday promotional calendar could allow you to combine a major purchase with one or more desirable gifts. We'll update this section as soon as additional Black Friday and Insiders Weekend details become available.

Other LEGO Promotional Sets to Watch

Several additional LEGO promotional models have appeared throughout 2026, but not every promotional set should automatically be considered an upcoming Fall 2026 GWP. That includes models such as 40908 Restaurants of the World: Greece and other promotional releases without firm upcoming fall availability.

Promotional set numbers can appear well before their exact distribution method becomes clear. Some eventually become traditional GWPs, while others may be connected to particular themes, regional promotions, special events, or individual product launches.

For that reason, we're keeping this guide focused on GWPs with stronger evidence pointing toward September, October, or November 2026. If additional promotional sets receive reliable fall availability information, we'll add them to the list.

How Do LEGO Gift With Purchase Promotions Work?

A LEGO Gift With Purchase, commonly shortened to GWP, is a promotional set offered to shoppers who meet certain purchase requirements.

The most common type uses a spending threshold. For example, LEGO may offer a promotional set with qualifying purchases of $100 or more. Other GWPs work differently. Some are restricted to purchases from a particular theme, while others require shoppers to purchase one specific set.

40897 Darth Vader's Lightsaber is a good example. Rather than simply spending $799.99 on any LEGO products, shoppers must purchase the 75457 Executor Super Star Destroyer to qualify for the promotional model.

GWPs are also typically available while supplies last. A promotion may have an advertised end date, but the free set can disappear earlier if LEGO runs out of stock.

That's why it's always worth checking the current LEGO Sales & Offers page before completing a large purchase.

What's Coming Next for LEGO GWPs in 2026?

There are still plenty of unanswered questions surrounding the remainder of LEGO's 2026 promotional calendar.

September currently points toward Scary Haunted Tree, while October brings Darth Vader's Lightsaber and potentially Astro Bot. November then shifts attention toward Mini Knight's Castle, Hot Chocolate Stand, LEGO Insiders Weekend, Black Friday, and the beginning of the holiday shopping season.

But that almost certainly isn't the complete picture.

We're still watching for additional information surrounding:

  • Mid-to-late October promotions

  • Additional November GWPs

  • LEGO Insiders Weekend 2026

  • Black Friday 2026 promotions

  • Cyber Monday 2026 offers

  • Holiday and Christmas GWPs

  • Returning promotional sets

  • LEGO Insiders Points events

As more information surfaces, we'll continue updating this guide with the latest availability dates, number of parts, purchase thresholds, and official details.
