LEGO Harry Potter Sets Coming in 2027: New Info
The First LEGO Harry Potter 2027 Rumors Are Here
The first LEGO Harry Potter 2027 rumors have officially begun to appear, giving fans an early look at what could be arriving in January 2027. While the rumored lineup is still taking shape, early reports have highlighted several potential releases, including familiar Hogwarts locations, a Dobby-themed set, and a possible Azkaban playset.
Although these sets have not been officially confirmed by the LEGO Group, they have stirred up plenty of discussion within the LEGO community. The biggest question isn't just what the sets are, it's which version of Harry Potter they'll be based on.
With HBO's upcoming Harry Potter television series on the horizon, many fans are wondering whether LEGO will continue recreating moments from the original films or begin transitioning to the new adaptation.
New rumors have also surfaced regarding two potential additions to the LEGO Harry Potter 2027 lineup. Reports suggest that the Hogwarts Castle system could continue with an Astronomy Tower section, while a new Azkaban playset may also arrive in summer 2027. Although neither release has been officially confirmed by LEGO, both are among the latest rumored additions to watch.
LEGO Hogwarts Castle: Astronomy Tower Rumored for Summer 2027
The LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle system is rumored to continue expanding in 2027, with a new Astronomy Tower section reportedly planned for release.
According to information attributed to Easterbunnyleakz, the upcoming Astronomy Tower section is expected to continue the existing Hogwarts Castle system, giving collectors another addition to look forward to. The rumored set is currently expected to arrive in summer 2027, although an exact release date has not been reported.
At this time, no official set number, price, or number of parts has been revealed. LEGO has not confirmed the rumored release, so additional details will need to be verified as more information becomes available.
LEGO Harry Potter Azkaban Set Rumored for Summer 2027
Another rumored addition to the LEGO Harry Potter 2027 lineup is a new set based on Azkaban, the infamous wizarding prison from the Harry Potter universe.
According to information attributed to Easterbunnyleakz, an Azkaban set is expected to release in 2027, potentially bringing the iconic location to the LEGO Harry Potter collection. The rumored Azkaban release is expected to be a playset, with a potential launch during summer 2027.
No official set number, price, or number of parts has been reported, and LEGO has not confirmed the set. For now, Azkaban remains an unconfirmed addition to the rumored LEGO Harry Potter 2027 lineup.
LEGO Harry Potter Harry Meets Dobby (76479)
Price: $14.99 | Release Date: January 2027 (Rumored)
One of the first rumored sets for 2027 is Harry Meets Dobby, a small, affordable playset centered around one of the series' most beloved house-elves. The title immediately raises some interesting questions. In the original films, Harry first meets Dobby at Privet Drive in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Depending on how LEGO approaches the build, the set could feature:
Harry Potter
Dobby
A section of Privet Drive
Bedroom accessories or magical elements
At just $14.99, this is expected to be an entry-level set aimed at younger builders while still offering collectors another version of Dobby to add to their Hogwarts display.
No official images, piece count, or minifigure lineup have been revealed.
LEGO Harry Potter First Year at Hogwarts Castle (76483)
Price: $109.99 | Release Date: January 2027 (Rumored)
Another rumored release is First Year at Hogwarts Castle, reportedly priced at $109.99. Based on the name alone, this set appears to revisit Harry's very first year at Hogwarts, potentially recreating scenes from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
Possible scenes could include:
The Great Hall
Hogwarts classrooms
Gryffindor Tower
The Grand Staircase
First-year students arriving at Hogwarts
Because LEGO has released several different Hogwarts Castle systems over the years, fans are already speculating whether this will connect with the current modular lineup or launch something completely new.
As with the first set, no piece count or official images have surfaced yet.
Original Harry Potter Films or New HBO Series?
Perhaps the biggest mystery surrounding the 2027 LEGO Harry Potter wave isn't the sets themselves, it's which version of Harry Potter they'll represent.
Warner Bros.' highly anticipated HBO Harry Potter television series will introduce an entirely new cast and a fresh adaptation of J.K. Rowling's books.
Because these first rumored LEGO set names focus on classic early-story moments, there are two possibilities:
At this point, there is no confirmation either way. The set names alone aren't enough to determine which direction LEGO plans to take, so fans should treat all speculation with caution until official announcements are made.
