Black Knights Shields, Castle Minifigure Parts & Light Blue Classic Space Elements Arrive Before the End of 2026

Some of the most exciting new LEGO Pick a Brick additions of 2026 are on the way, and LEGO Castle and Classic Space collectors have plenty to look forward to.

New elements revealed during Skærbæk Fan Weekend are expected to arrive on Pick a Brick across November and December 2026, including the new Black Knights shield, an assembled Black Knights torso with dark blue arms, and elements for the new light blue Classic Space astronaut and Spacebaby.

For Castle fans in particular, these additions could make army building significantly easier. Several desirable elements that were previously associated with specific 2026 sets will soon be available individually, removing the need to purchase multiple complete sets just to expand a faction or minifigure collection.

As of now, LEGO has not specified whether each individual element will arrive in November or December, so collectors will want to keep an eye on LEGO Pick a Brick as the end of the year approaches.

The Black Knights Shield Is Coming to LEGO Pick a Brick

One of the biggest additions for LEGO Castle collectors is the new Black Knights shield introduced with 40912 Sea Serpent.

LEGO 40912 Sea Serpent

Released during LEGO Insiders Days in July 2026, Sea Serpent is a modern tribute to the original 1992 Castle set. The 241-part model includes two Black Knight minifigures alongside a fabric sail and newly decorated shields. LEGO currently lists the set with 241 parts and two knight minifigures.

Until now, getting additional copies of the new shield meant acquiring more copies of Sea Serpent or turning to the secondary market. That is about to change.

The Black Knights shield is expected to be coming to Pick a Brick in either November or December 2026, allowing Castle fans to order the element individually.

That could make this one of the most desirable Pick a Brick additions of the year. Shields are an important part of distinguishing LEGO Castle factions, and being able to purchase them individually should make it considerably easier to build larger modern Black Knights armies.

The Black Knights Torso Is Coming Too

The shield isn't the only Black Knights element headed to Pick a Brick.

The updated Black Knight minifigures included with 40912 Sea Serpent use the Griffin Knight torso combined with dark blue arms. The individual pieces were already obtainable through Pick a Brick, meaning fans could recreate much of the figure themselves, but doing so required swapping the arms manually.

Later this year, that process should become much easier. The torso and dark blue arm combination will be offered directly through Pick a Brick, allowing Castle army builders to purchase the assembled configuration rather than modifying the torso themselves.

Combined with the upcoming shield, this should make building an entire Black Knights force far more straightforward.

What Remains Exclusive to 40912 Sea Serpent?

With the Black Knights shield and torso configuration heading to Pick a Brick, very little from 40912 Sea Serpent will remain exclusive to the set.

The major exception is its fabric sail, which remains the key exclusive element associated with the model according to current reporting.

For army builders, however, the minifigure-related elements are arguably the bigger news. Fans interested primarily in expanding their Black Knights faction will soon have a much easier route to obtaining the pieces they need.

Light Blue Classic Space Astronaut Coming to Pick a Brick

Castle isn't the only classic LEGO theme receiving some attention.

Elements from the new light blue Classic Space astronaut included with LEGO Icons 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine are also expected for Pick a Brick before the end of 2026.

Released in July 2026, 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine contains 2,274 parts and incorporates Classic Space into its retro arcade design. LEGO officially describes the set as including an astronaut and baby astronaut as part of the playable pinball mechanism. The light blue astronaut is particularly notable for Classic Space collectors.

The complete light blue Classic Space astronaut makes its debut in 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine, bringing together several matching elements to create the full figure for the first time. Those astronaut elements are now expected to reach Pick a Brick during November or December.

That means collectors should eventually be able to expand their light blue astronaut crews without buying additional copies of the $229.99 Arcade Pinball Machine.

The Light Blue Spacebaby Is Coming Too

The matching light blue Spacebaby is also headed to Pick a Brick.

Introduced in 2026 alongside the astronaut in 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine, the light blue Spacebaby brings another color variation to the growing collection of tiny Classic Space-inspired characters.

The decorated Spacebaby body is new for 2026, making its upcoming individual availability particularly useful for collectors who want multiples without purchasing the complete Icons set.

Between the astronaut and Spacebaby, the late-2026 Pick a Brick additions should offer Classic Space collectors several new opportunities to expand their displays and crews.

When Will the New LEGO Pick a Brick Parts Be Available?

The newly confirmed Castle and Space elements are expected to reach LEGO Pick a Brick during November and December 2026.

However, the exact release month for each individual element has not yet been confirmed. Current information only establishes that the newly revealed parts are coming across those two months and should arrive before the end of the year.

That means the Black Knights shield, Black Knights torso configuration, light blue Classic Space elements and Spacebaby may not necessarily become available simultaneously.

We'll update this article as soon as more specific availability information becomes available.

Expect High Demand When the New Parts Arrive

Castle and Classic Space remain two of LEGO's most popular nostalgic themes, so some of these elements could attract considerable attention when they first appear.

The Black Knights shield in particular could prove popular with army builders who want dozens of matching shields, while the light blue astronaut elements offer Classic Space collectors a much less expensive way to build larger crews.

Initial Pick a Brick availability can fluctuate, so collectors interested in these elements may want to check the service regularly once November begins.

If a particular element becomes temporarily unavailable, collectors may want to continue checking Pick a Brick for future availability.

More LEGO Pick a Brick Parts Are Coming in 2026

The Black Knights and Classic Space elements are only part of LEGO's expanding Pick a Brick lineup for the remainder of 2026.

A separate wave of new elements is already expected to arrive in October, followed by these newly expected additions across November and December. We'll continue tracking the latest LEGO Pick a Brick releases as new parts become available.

Castle and Space collectors should bookmark LEGO Pick a Brick and check back as November and December approach.

We'll also be watching for the Black Knights shield, torso and new Classic Space elements to appear online and will share updates once they're available to order.

And if you're expanding your own medieval factions, you can also browse Pickle Bricks' LEGO-compatible Castle accessories, including weapons, armor and shields designed to give your minifigures even more customization options.
