We now have the official lineup of LEGO IDEAS Sets coming in 2023. So far, we're expecting four new LEGO IDEAS Sets to launch in the next calendar year. While there has been no official release dates leaked, some of the sets releases we can anticipate based on the subject matter and past LEGO IDEAS releases.
Based on 2022s release schedule, we had the LEGO IDEAS Sonic the Hedgehog - Green Hill Zone (21331) released in January, followed by The Globe (21332) in February, Vincent van Gogh - The Starry Night (21333) in the end of May, then Jazz Quartet (21334) at the end of June, and finally—the most recent addition to this year's lineup—the LEGO IDEAS Motorised Lighthouse (21335) which released mid-August. We also have the LEGO IDEAS The Office (21336) coming next month, which was originally slated as a July release, but was inevitably pushed back.
So, what will this mean for next years releases? To start off 2023, we can expect at least one release in January or February, and out of the list the most likely candidate will be the LEGO IDEAS A-Frame Cabin (21338), since it is the oldest project currently in production. In the past, LEGO IDEAS sets also typically released in order as it pertained to their Set Number, so we can predict they'll most likely continue that trend through 2023—so we've come up with projected release windows in the chart below. Also of note, the LEGO IDEAS Viking Village (21341) is going to be sold as a Target Exclusive and is expected most likely some time next fall. The set will have almost the same availability as regular LEGO IDEAS sets globally, with the exception of the United States, where it will be exclusively available through Target in addition to LEGO Brand Retail stores and Shop@Home.
