Rare BrickLink Designer Program Sets Returning for a Limited Time
LEGO fans in the United States and Canada—mark your calendars! LEGO has announced that a very limited supply of past BrickLink Designer Program (BDP) Series 1 and 2 sets will be available for purchase starting May 20, 2025, at 8 AM Pacific Time.
Why the Bricklink Designer Program Seris 1 & 2 Re-Release?
According to LEGO, these sets come from leftover inventory at the end of the production process—a rare opportunity for those who missed the crowdfunding window. This surprise re-release comes as part of LEGO’s continued effort to support fan-designed sets and reduce surplus inventory. Due to cancellations, unfulfilled orders, and a small reserve of overproduced stock, LEGO is making these sought-after builds available one last time. But act quickly—quantities are extremely limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
LEGO has emphasized that once these remaining sets are gone, they’re gone for good. No further production runs are planned, and these LEGO sets will not be restocked in the future.
Which Bricklink Designer Program Series 1 & 2 Sets Might Be Available?
LEGO has not released an official list of which sets will be included in the May 20th re-release, but based on Series 1 and 2 popularity and production history, fans might reasonably expect a few of the following to appear in limited quantities:
