The 5 Largest LEGO Sets Ever Produced

With the release of the newest addition to the LEGO Art Theme, LEGO Art World Map (31203)

—which clocked in at 11,695 pieces—we have a new contender for the largest LEGO Set available for retail purchase! This newest usurper, led us to consider the progression of larger-than-life LEGO sets over the past few years, and we were inclined to do a review of the top 5 largest sets by piece-count!

5. LEGO Creator Expert Taj Mahal (10256)

4. LEGO Harry Potter™ Hogwarts Castle (71043)

3. LEGO Star Wars™ Millennium Falcon™ (75192)

2. LEGO Creator Expert Colosseum (10276)

As an honorable mention, LEGO NINJAGO® City Gardens (71741) came in 6th with 5,685 pieces, having been bumped out of the top 5 by the LEGO Art World Map (31203). With several more confirmed and rumored LEGO Star Wars™ UCS sets coming later in 2021, it's unclear how long the bottom 3 will remain on the list, but as of now the UCS Republic Gunship won't even come close as it's only rumored to contain between 2,400-3,000 pieces. One takeaway that we can be certain of, is that it will take a monumental set to knock LEGO Art World Map (31203) from its newfound top slot, as it currently stands at roughly 2,000 pieces more than the 2nd place set, LEGO Creator Expert Colosseum (10276).
