LEGO Technic Sets Coming in 2023

Updated: Jul 7, 2023

For the first half of 2023, the LEGO Technic Theme will be welcoming an additional 12 new LEGO Technic sets to the lineup, with some familiar Manufacturer names like Bugatti, Liebherr and also some new names like Peugeot and NASCAR coming into the fold.

Beginning with the first wave releasing in January 2023, we'll be getting a lot of smaller/mid-sized LEGO Technic sets to start the year off. We'll be seeing two new additions to the Monster Jam sets along with a few construction class vehicles. Most notably, in the second wave releasing in March we'll be getting a LEGO Technic Bugatti Bolide (42151), which will be similar in scale to the McLaren Senna GTR (42123), along with a NASCAR Next Gen Chevy Camaro ZL1 (42153) also in the same scale.

A little more exciting, however, is the later wave releases coming in May and beyond—we'll be getting two rather large LEGO Technic Sets in the form of the LEGO Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar (42156), an endurance racer that competes in the World Endurance Championship, which is rumored to contain 1,775 parts and is expected to retail for $199.99 | €199.99; along with the LEGO Technic Liebherr LR 13000 Crawler Crane (42146), which with a part count of 2,882 and a price tag of $449.99, it's safe to assume we'll be seeing some additional Powered Up options this time around as well.
